Blackberry Themes Installation and Use

A blackberry is the best tool for professionals and entrepreneurs alike. You may be surprised, but even theme installation plays a vital role in personalizing your system.

Below are some of the options by which you can install the themes:

1. Installing from a Download link, Application Store or Internet

After purchasing the theme, access the download link to use your Smartphone browser. Click on the theme you wish to install.

Follow phone prompts and then install the software on the Smartphone. Once that is done, select options, then click on to themes. Now scroll down the list till you see the downloaded theme. Wait till it is activated.

2. Installation via Blackberry Desktop Manager

For theme installation, you first have to download them to the PC and thereafter use the Blackberry Desktop Manager's application loader tool.

Now, select a new theme to the PC and, if necessary unzip it. Each theme comprises of a.cod and an.alx file. Better install both these files. Now, plug the blackberry to the computer and select Application loader after opening the Desktop manager software.

Now select open and then click on Add option. Find the.alx file associated with the theme you have downloaded as soon as the dialog box opens up and click OK.

3. Installing to Your Blackberry From Your Desktop

If the files are in Zip format, extract all files to the folder. Now you can simply copy the entire folder to the media card or to the device memory.

Now, you can use the blackberry device for activating the OTA files. Select JAD file. Click on Download. The application would load on to the blackberry in the theme/application menu.

Now, use the download link for directly installing to the Blackberry. Now, restart the device so that its software registers the new.cod file.
